There are two Embarkation Roll entries for G.G. Aitken: one under No. 4133 in the 4th Bn, 13th Reinforcement, which left Sydney on 20 December 1915; a second under No. 3579, 4th Bn, 11th Reinforcement, which left Sydney on 13 October 1915. It appears that although he enlisted on 7 August 1915, he did not sail with the 11th Reinforcement but enlisted again on 10 December 1915 and sailed on 20 December 1915 with the 13th Reinforcement. |
