'Corporal MANSFIELD has been working during the past month with parties on formation work for DECAUVILLE Tramway, between Brigade Headquarters and Bulls Road, under direct observation, being shelled more or less every day, and his coolness under fire has had a marked effect on the moral of the men working under him, and also on the progress of the work.'
