Embarked Egypt to join the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force (Gallipoli Campaign), 29 May 1915.

Rejoined unit from detachment to 263rd Depot Unit of Supply, 8 October 1915.

Admitted to No 3 Canadian Stationary Hospital, Mudros, 30 December 1915 (jaundice); transferred to Egypt, 13 January 1916; to No 1 Australian General Hospital, Cairo, 16 January 1916; to Convalescent Home, Helouan, 31 January 1916; discharged, 5 February 1916, and marched into Overseas Base, Ghezireh, the same day.
