Embarked Melbourne on HMT 'Commonwealth', 28 October 1917; disembarked Suez, 10 December 1917, and marched into Reinforcements Camp, Moascar; marched into 4th Training Regiment, 3 January 1918, and taken on strength, AAMC Training Cadre, Moascar. Detached to 2nd Australian Stationary Hospital for instructional purposes, 7 January 1918; returned to unit, 24 January 1918. Temporarily transferred to 2nd Light Horse Training Regiment for rationing, 6 February 1918, returned to unit, 27 February 1918. Transferred to 8th Sanitary Section, 27 February 1918. Transferred to 12 Light Horse Regiment, 21 March 1918, and taken on strength, Belah.
