Killed in action, 19 July 1916. Buried at Eaton Hall Cemetery by Reverend F.G. Ward, 20 July 1916 Statement, Red Cross File No 1880403, 584 Pte H.J. MOONEY, 32nd Bn (patient, 1st Auststralian Auxiliary hospital, Harefield, England), 22 February 1917: 'Killed on 19th July at Fleurbaix[;] he was buried in a small cemetery at Eaton Hall near a sap called Sella (sic) Farm.
