Meritorious Service Medal 'For very good work and devotion to duty. Since the return of the 1914 personnel in September to Australia a great amount of responsible work dealing with stores and rations has devolved on Lance Corporal McBRIDE. This man has always carried out the work with energy and efficiency. Since the arrival of the Unit in FRANCE, Lance Corporal McBRIDE's work has always been of a very high order.'
