Admitted to 2nd Light horse Field Ambulance, 8 September 1917 (sprained knee), and transferred to Hospital Train, and admitted to 65th Casualty Clearing Station, Rafa, 8 September 1917, and transferred to 45th Stationary Hospital, El Arish, 12 September 1917 (synovitis, right knee); to Base Hospital, 14 September 1917; to 14th Australian General Hospital, Abbassia, 17 September 1917 (injury of a trivial nature; not in the performance of his military duty; the result of an old injury received in South Africa).
