War Service: Disembarked at Devonport 29 January 1917. Proceeded to Frrance on 3 May 1917. Taken on strength of 33rd Battalion 22 May 1917. Sent to hospital sick on 25 September 1917; discharged to duty 17 November 1917. During 1918, he was hospitalised for VD treament.
