Admitted to 3rd Light Horse Field Ambulance, 17 June 1916 (debility); transferred to 54th Casualty Clearing Station, 20 June 1916; returned to duty, 27 June 1916.

Found guilty, 21 July 1916, of drunkenness when on active service: awarded 7 days’ Field Punishment No 2; forfeited a total of 5 days’ pay.

To be Driver, 1 August 1916.

Transferred to 3rd Light Horse Brigade Machine Gun Squadron, Bally-Bunion, 3 August 1916.
