War service: Western Front Tried by Field General Court Martial, 30 January 1919, on charges of (1) civil offence of shooting; (2) drunkenness: acquitted on charge (1); found guilty on charge (2): sentenced to 90 days' Field Punishment No 2 and forfeiture of 115 days' pay. Due to commence return to Australia on 21 June 1919; deserted. Lived in England under the name of Leslie GRAHAM; died in 1973. |
