Transferred to England, 26 February 1917, and admitted to 1st Southern General Hospital, Dudley Road, Birmingham, 27 February 1917; discharged from hospital on furlough, 12 July 1917.

Marched out from No 4 Command Depot to No 2 Command Depot, Weymouth, 31 July 1917.

Commenced return to Australia on board HT 'New Zealand', 4 September 1917; disembarked Adelaide, 20 October 1917; discharged, Adelaide (medically unfit), 3 November 1917.
