Meritorious Service Medal 'For devotion to duty and conspicuous good service during period 16th September to 11th November 1918. This Non Commissioned Officer has been employed in the Administrative Branch of this Division as stenographer, since July, 1916 and has at all times carried out his duties in a praiseworthy manner. His cheerful disposition and untiring energy have materially assisted in coping with the extensive clerical duties required by operations in which this Division has been engaged, particularly during the Somme Offensive, 1918.'
