Military Medal 'This N.C.O. carried out many night reconnaissances during the period 19th April - 6th May and obtained much useful information notably concerning the condition of the wire in the HINDENBURG LINE East of BULLECOURT. His conduct in the line was also of a high order, and contributed largely to the excellent morale of his Company throughout a long and arduous period in the firing line.'
