Son of John and Jane (nee Glenn) McMullan Married Martha Jane Clarke on 28 April 1906 War Service: Egypt, France, Western Front. Accidentally wounded while serving in France (gun shot wound to right thigh) on 2 October 1917. Admitted to 3rd Casualty Clearing Station on same day. Transferred to the 12th General Hospital at Rouen on 4 October 1917. Invalided to England and admitted to the Mile End Military Hospital on 10 November 1917 Returned to Australia on board HT "Argyllshire", departing on 31 January 1918. Transferred to HT "Osterley" at Capetown. Disembarked at Melbourne on 15 April 1918 |
