Embarked Sydney, 19 June 1918; disembarked London, England, 26 August 1918; marched into 9th Training Bn, Fovant, 26 August 1918, and allotted to 34th Bn reinforcements the same day. Transferred to Artillery Details, 4 October 1918, and marched into Reserve Bde Australian Artillery, Heytesbury, the same day. Evacuated to hospital, 12 October 1918; admitted to Sutton Veny Military Hospital, 13 October 1918 (broncho pneumonia, seriously ill). Died, Sutton Veny Military Hospital, 23 October 1918 (influenza, and pneumonia). Buried, Tidworth Military Cemetery, 29 October 1918. Medal: British War Medal. |
