Military Medal 'Was in charge of an advanced dressing station in the Quarry near MOUQUET FARM between 30th August and 2nd September, 1916. Here he did excellent work in organising his stretcher bearers and in attending to the wounded; his coolness and ability inspired all who came in touch with him.'
