Military Medal 'For conspicuous gallantry and keen initiative near WARNETON on the 13th March, 1918. This N.C.O. was of great assistance to his Officer in accounting for 3 of the enemy who had previously been observed in No Man's Land. He crawled out in company with Lieutenant GRAHAM to secure identifications and discover what had happened to the enemy party. Seeing movement in a shell hole Corporal MOLLOY rushed the place, wrestled with the enemy who was armed with 2 rifles, S.A.A. and bombs and succeeded in capturing him. This cool act of courage in broad daylight, when identifications were urgently required was of great value and set a fine example to his comrades. Corporal MOLLOY as Scout N.C.O. has on many occasions rendered most valuable service to his Battalion.'
