Found guilty, 11 April 1917, of being absent without leave from 2130 hours, 7 April 1917, until 2130 hours, 10 April 1917: awarded 14 days' confined to barracks and forfeits 4 days' pay by Royal Warrant.

Admitted to No 1 Australian Dermatological Hospital, Bulford, 11 April 1917 (venereal disease); discharged to depot, 7 May 1917; total period of treatment for venereal disease: 27 days.

Proceeded overseas to France, 20 March 1917.
