Proceeded overseas to France, 1 March 1918; marched in to Australian General Base Depot, Rouelles, 2 March 1918; taken on strength of 7th Field Artillery Brigade, 7 March 1918.

Admitted 58th Casualty Clearing Station, 2 October 1918 (diarrhoea); transferred to 73rd General Hospital, Traville, 3 October 1918; still a patient at 73rd General Hospital, 11 December 1918; discharged from hospital, 8 January 1919; admitted to 1st Australian Convalescent Depot, Havre, 9 January 1919; discharged and marched in to Australian General Base Depot, 3 February 1919; on leave to England, 9 February 1919; rejoined unit from leave, 25 February 1919; attached for duty with Australian Imperial Force Headquarters, London, England, 25 February 1919; marched out for demobilisation, 18 June 1919.

Commenced return to Australia on board HT 'Norman', 4 July 1919; disembarked Melbourne, 8 August 1919; discharged, 25 September 1919.
