Embarked Southampton for Egypt, 18 April 1916 (dysentery, sitting case); disembarked Alexandria, 20 April 1916; admitted to 21st Australian General Hospital, 28 April 1916 (gun shot wound, elbow); discharged to duty, 30 April 1916. Admitted to No 3 Auxiliary Hospital, Heliopolis, 15 May 1916 (gun shot wound, left elbow); transferred same day to No 1 Auxiliary Hospital, Heliopolis.
