Military Medal 'On the night of 4th/5th February, 1917, on south east of GUEUDECOURT this N.C.O. successfully led his Lewis gun Section and gun through an almost impenetrable barrage to the assistance of the right company in captured line. This N.C.O. did splendid work in the front line.'
