Evacuated to hospital, Hassamya, 19 August 1916; admitted to No 26 Casualty Clearing Station, no date stated; No 31 General Hospital, Port Said, 5 September 1916 (tonsillitis); discharged, 21 September 1916, and marched into 8th Light Horse Details, Et Maler, the same day.

Proceeded to unit, 30 October 1916; rejoined 8th Light Horse Regiment, Et Maler, 30 October 1916.
