Military Medal 'As Wagon Orderly corporal this N.C.O., on 15th and 16th May 1917 near Noreuil showed marked bravery and devotion to duty under heavy shell fire. Shells were constantly playing around his wagon, and fragments struck it, yet he carried out his duties with fearlessness, coolness and skill. On many other occasions between the 9th and 23rd May he displayed a high degree of courage and coolness. This N.C.O. was mentioned in dispatches in 8/12/16.'
