Other detailsMarried Rose May Young in Brisbane on 14 October 1903, and had two sons, Stuart Julian, born 15 December 1905 and Edwin, born 26 April 1914. Personal effects belonging to Pte Archibald Norris were being returned to his wife when they were lost at sea. The "Bangura" was sunk on 24 July 1918 taking with it his notebook, wallet, receipt, photos, letters, cards and Masonic book (they were in case No. 1253)
