Admitted to Line of Communication Hospital, 25 May 1918; discharged to Base Depot, 25 May 1918.

Wounded in action, 2 August 1918 (gun shot wound, leg, buttock and arm), and admitted to 6th Australian Field Ambulance, and transferred to 47th Casualty Clearing Station; to 47th General Hospital, Le Treport, 4 August 1918; to Convalescent Depot, Havre, 11 August 1918; rejoined Bn, in the field, 10 September 1918.

On leave to England, 20 October 1918; rejoined Bn from leave, 5 November 1918.

Marched out to England for return to Australia, 10 May 1919.
