'When the Battalion was in the line in front of PASSCHENDAELE (5/10/17 to 10/10/17) this N.C.O. did splendid and constant hard work in getting rations up to the men. During the tour of duty in LE TOUQUET sector near ARMENTIERES, this N.C.O. performed yeoman service in getting hot food through the mud to the outposts.'
