Admitted to No 3 Field Ambulance, Tel el Kebir, 9 February 1916 (chancroids); discharged to duty, 11 February 1916; total period of treatment for venereal disease: 3 days. Admitted to No 3 Field Ambulance, Tel el Kebir, 23 February 1916, and transferred to No 2 Australian Stationary Hospital, Tel el Kebir, the same day (mumps). Taken on strength of "B" Company, 32nd Bn, 3 March 1916. Discharged to unit from No 2 Australian Stationary Hospital, 15 March 1916 (mumps).
