Wounded in action, 28 March 1918 (gun shot wound, head), and admitted to 56th Casualty Clearing Station; transferred to 22nd General Hospital, Camiers, 29 March 1918; to England, 4 April 1918, and admitted same day to Central Military Hospital, Eastbourne; transferred to 3rd Auxiliary Hospital, Dartford, 19 April 1918; discharged on furlough, 24 April 1918, to report to No 4 Command Depot, Hurdcott, 8 May 1918.
