Military Medal 'On 9th August 1918 near RAINECOURT, east of AMIENS, this man was one of a patrol which went forward before zero to reconnoitre the position in front of the proposed advance. An enemy machine gun post was encountered among some huts near the road. Private PASKE crept up to the post and bombed it all the time under heavy machine gun fire. Owing to this action many casualties were saved as the gun was hidden in such a position as to enfilade the advancing troops. During the subsequent advance and consolidation he showed great dash and individual bravery.'
