Military Medal 'For gallantry and devotion to duty near VILLERS BRETONNEUX on 3rd May, 1918. During the attack he more than once took forward messages to the Companies from Battalion Headquarters over ground swept by intense machine gun and rifle fire and safely brought back answers.
