Military Medal 'For conspicuous good work on the 10th,11th April 1917 in the attack on the HINDENBURG LINE. On reaching the first objective he gallantly led his bombing section forward and bombed his way along a communication trench establishing communication with Company on our right. His coolness and dash set a fine example to his men.'
