Military Medal

'After the parties had finished their work each of these men [Porter and 2450 Pte B.G. Walker] stopped and bombed, to cover the retreat of the remainder. They were also both remarkably accurate with their throwing. Private Walker put a couple of bombs under a Trench Mortar and together with Private Hutson bombed a big lighted dug-out in the distance.'
