Military Cross 'For gallantry, devotion to duty, and extremely aluable work during the operatins on 3rd October 1918, in the Beaurevoi System, east of Peronne. He carried out his duties unflinchingly, frequently under fire, the result being that telephone communication, was maintained continually between Brigade Headquarters and the front line.'
