Was wounded twice - Paralysed down one side for six months - bullet wound across the top of his head. From 1935-1937 was Shire President, Cudgegong Shire Council, elected to Executive of Shires Association of New South Wales. Mudgee Agricultural Pastoral, Horticultural and Industrial Association President for three years prior to 1941. Served in the Second World War. |
