Meritorious Service Medal 'Battery Sergeant Major RACKHAM has done remarkably good work during the period 25th February 1918 to Night 16th/17th September 1918. He has been responsible for the ammunition supply from Wagon Lines to Battery Position, and has at all times carried out his duties in a most capable and efficient manner. His untiring energy, coolness under shell fire, and devotion to duty have set an excellent example to all ranks.'
