Admitted to Fargo Military Hospital, 14 October 1917 (influenza); discharged to Training Depot, 11 November 1918. Transferred to Australian Army Medical Corps Details, 10 January 1919; attached for duty to No 1 Australian Dermatological Hospital, Bulford, 5 February 1919, and posted for duty to No 2 Camp, Parkhouse. Found guilty, Bulford, of being absent without leave from 2059, 23 August, to 2035, 28 August 1919: admonished, and forfeited 5 days' pay.
