Marched in to 15th Training Bn, Codford, 5 November 1917.

Proceeded overseas to France, 18 December 1917; taken on strength, 43rd Bn, in the field, 24 December 1917.

Wounded in action, 2 June 1918 (gun shot wound, lip), and admitted to 10th Australian Field Ambulance; transferred to 47th Casualty Clearing Station, 3 June 1918; rejoined Bn, in the field, 6 June 1918.

Killed in action, 4 July 1918.
