Embarked Melbourne, 22 December 1917; disembarked Suez, Egypt, 16 January 1918, and marched into Australian Camp, Suez, the same day.

Embarked Port Said, 24 January 1918; disembarked Taranto, Italy, 2 February 1918, and proceeded overland; disembarked Southampton, England, 14 February 1918, and marched into 10th Training Bn, Sutton Mandeville, the same day.

Marched into 10th Training Bn, Sutton Mandeville, from Drill School, Jellalabad, 16 March 1918.

Proceeded overseas to France, 15 April 1918; marched into New Zealand General and Infantry Base Depot, Etaples, 17 April 1918.

Proceeded to unit, 17 April 1918; taken on strength of 37th Bn, in the field, 18 April 1918.

Wounded in action, 25 August 1918; admitted to No 55 Field Ambulance, 25 August 1918, and transferred to No 37 Casualty Clearing Station the same day (shrapnel wounds, right and left legs); to No 5 General Hospital, Rouen, 26 August 1918; to England, 28 August 1918; to Royal Victoria Hospital, Netley, 30 August 1918; discharged to furlough, 11 October 1918, and to report to No 1 Command Depot, Sutton Veny, 25 October 1918.

Died, St Neots, Cambridge, King's Road, 21 October 1918 (pneumonia).

Buried by Archdeacon Hodgson, 24 October 1918.
