'This N.C.O. was in charge of the whole of the Technical equipment of the Company during the operations EAST of AMIENS from 8th August to 8th October 1918. On all the numerous moves of the Corps headquarters he has installed the entire telephone systems and wired up the Signal Office and it is entirely due to his skill and devotion to duty that the Technical equipment of the Company is in its present state of efficiency.'
