Wounded in action, 19 September 1918 (gun shot wound, right thigh), and admitted to 12th Casualty Clearing Station. Transferred to 3rd Australian General Hospital, Abbeville, 24 September 1918; to England, 25 September 1918, and admitted to Norwich War Hospital.
