Military Medal 'Pioneer Riglen was noticed for conspicuous courage and devotion to duty during attack on HINDENBURG LINE South of REINCOURT on 11th April, 1917. He carried wounded from in front of enemy wire being all the time under heavy enemy Machine Gun and Rifle Fire and showed no consideration for his own safety. He was untiring and showed great bravery and endurance in carrying the wounded over a long distance from enemy line to our original line. His conduct is deserving of recognition.'
