Military Medal

'During the fighting east of YPRES on 20th September 1917, Pte. ROBARTS distinguished himself by stalking and shooting three individual enemy snipers who were causing casualties to our troops during the consolidation of the captured position. He showed great courage and initiative throughout and showed great dash in assisting to capture a strong enemy block-house.'
