'For consistently good work and devotion to duty from 25th February to 16th September, 1918, Sergeant SAUNDERS has always performed his duties most conscientiously and has shown great keenness and ability. He left Australia in 1914 and has since then greatly helped in maintaining the efficiency of his Battery by his good solid untiring work as a saddler.'
