Military Medal

'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty during the advance near CHUIGNES on 25th/26th August, 1918. Private SEAMAN was employed as a runner between Company Headquarters and all the Section Headquarters. He worked unceasingly under hostile Machine Gun and Artillery fire. In spite of frequent changes of locations of section he delivered all despatches in quick time, and his cheerfulness and disregard of danger was of benefit to all who saw him.'
