Military Medal 'On 5th June, 1918 at MORLANCOURT near ALBERT, during the enemy raid on our line, he was one of a party of 12 which counter attacked an enemy party 30 to 40 strong. He was foremost in the charge and bayoneted two and shot three of the Germans. His dash and conspicuous bravery were largely responsible for the successful rout of the enemy.
