War service: embarked Sydney, 9 May 1917; disembarked Suez, 20 June 1917, and marched in to Isolation Camp, Moascar. Marched out of Isolation Camp and taken on strength, Anzac Reserve Depot, Abbassia, 16 July 1917. Joined No 4 Company, Imperial Camel Corps, Ferry Post, 6 September 1917. Transferred to 14th Light Horse Regiment on reorganistion, 1 July 1918. Commenced return to Australia from Kantara on board HT 'Dongala', 24 July 1919; found guilty, at sea, 14 August 1919, of being absent from 6.30 am parade, 13 August: deprived of 1 day's pay, and confined to barracks for 1 day; disembarked Sydney, 28 August 1919; discharged, Sydney, 28 September 1919.
