Found guilty, Hurdcott, 10 March 1917, of (1)drunkenness; (2) when in camp being found beyond the limits fixed by his Commanding Officer in that he was at Wilton at 9.45 pm on 10 March 1917 without a pass: charge 1, admonished; charge 2: awarded 28 days' Field Punishment No 2.

Marched in to No 2 command Depot, Weymouth, 15 May 1917.

Found guilty, 2 June 1917, of being drunk in Weymouth about 10.15 pm, 31 May 1917: fined 2/6.

Commenced return to Australia on board HT 'Nestor', for discharge, 22 July 1917 (dislocated hip, fractured left thigh: old injury, originated prior to service); disembarked Adelaide, 21 September 1917; discharged (medically unfit), Adelaide, 29 October 1917.
