Meritorious Service Medal 'For meritorious service and devotion to duty. This Warrant Officer has been with the Division since its formation in March 1916, and has carried out his various duties in a most loyal manner. He has worked extremely hard, often under very trying circumstances, and has shown a very high state of efficiency. Throughout the period 25th February to 16th September 1918, particularly while the Division was engaged in active operations, he has shown untiring energy and devotion to duty and his work is worthy of special recognition.'
