Proceeded overseas to France, 15 February 1917; taken on strength, 32nd Bn, in the field, 13 March 1917. Wounded in action, 12 October 1917; remained at duty. Admitted to 8th Australian Field Ambulance, 30 November 1917 (gastritis); discharged to duty, and rejoined Bn, 5 December 1917.
