Transferred to, and taken on strength of 14 Company, Imperial Camel Corps, Abbassia, 1 July 1917. Taken on strength of 3rd Anzac Bn, Imperial Camel Corps, 11 November 1916. Evacuated to hospital, Palestine, 25 June 1917; admitted to No 24 Stationary Hospital, no date stated (herpes); transferred to No 14 Australian General Hospital, Abbassia, 28 June 1917; to British Red Cross Convalescent Hospital, Montazah, 24 July 1917; discharged, 27 July 1917, and marched into Australian and New Zealand Reserve Imperial Corps Bde, Abbassia, the same day.
